Boil Water Notice Lifted

4/14/2026

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your patience and understanding during the boil water advisory. The City conducted water sample tests, and all samples have PASSED health standard requirements and were negative for E. Coli Bacteria and total Coliforms. It is now safe to use the water as usual.

As a precaution, make sure all your lines are flushed prior to normal use. We request you run all cold-water taps in your home or business for five minutes. Starting at your highest faucet in your home or business and open the other faucets one at a time, moving from your highest floor to your lowest. After five minutes, turn off your faucets in reverse order, from lowest to highest lines. Refrigerator water lines should also be flushed in addition, customers and businesses should also dispose of any ice made since the notice was issued and the next three batches of ice should be thrown out as well. Ice maker containers should be wiped clean with a solution of 2 tablespoons of bleach to 1 gallon of water.
